Essentia Health continues care amid pandemic

We’ve all been instructed to stay home to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19. While that is still good advice, oftentimes, patients need care that requires face-to-face appointments. We are ready to responsibly and carefully resume these appointments at Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Mahnomen Clinic.

Your safety is our highest priority.

Our Mahnomen Clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 218-936-5616 to schedule an appointment face-to-face.

When you visit the clinic, you’ll likely notice things are a little different than the last time your visited. All staff, patients and visitors will go through a screening process and have their temperature taken upon entering. Everyone is being asked to wear a mask; you can help us conserve our supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) by brining your own cloth mask and wearing it when you arrive. If you cannot provide your own mask, we will give you one to abide by our universal masking policy. Covering mouths and noses is an effective way to contain a virus that is spread by droplets.

You will also be asked to practice social distancing. You’ll notice this especially at the registration desk. Plus, chairs are spaced further apart in the waiting room and we are doing all we can to avoid having patients waiting in common areas.

Visitor restrictions continue at this time and we ask that you come to your appointment alone whenever possible. This is a difficult decision but one that reduces the likelihood of COVID-19 transmission.

Virtual video visits are also available from the comfort of your home using your own technology. Schedule your video visit by calling the clinic.

Thank you for putting your trust in Essentia Health. We are privileged to serve you.
