The Essentia Health Baxter Clinic has grown from 44,000 square feet and 48 exam rooms to 64,000 square feet and 80 exam rooms
Essentia Health invites the community to attend an open house to celebrate the newly renovated Baxter Clinic from 4:30 to 6:30 pm., Thursday, June 28, 13060 Isle Drive in Baxter.
The clinic originally opened in February 2012, now after a $7.7 million renovation investment to meet the growing needs of the community, the Clinic has grown from 44,000 square feet and 48 exam rooms to 64,000 square feet and 80 exam rooms to allow for improved patient access to primary care, urgent care and specialists.
Attendees will have a chance to meet the care teams, check out the new space, and view original artwork from local artists on self-guided tours. The art talent showcased is sourced from The Crossing Arts Alliance, featuring art by Carolyn Abbott, Dan Devine, Lonnie Knutson, the late Evelyn Matthies, Lucy Nesheim, Karla Overland, Diane Runberg, and Diane Whiting; and Essentia Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center Auxiliary, featuring art by Dr. David Boran, Eva Fitzsimmons, Rob Fitzsimmons, Phyllis Frankum, Bill Grange, Steve Kohls, Jan Lendobeja , Bill Marchel, Crystal Olson, Kathy Reetz, Don Sherwood, Denny Schmidt, Dan Vang, and Mike Vogt. There will also be frozen treats and live music.
Essentia chose Nor-Son as general contractor and Widseth Smith Nolting, and Hammel Green & Abrahamson Inc. served as the project’s architects.
