Physician Assistant Leslie Anderson has joined the Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic in Superior, Wisconsin.
Anderson has been a physical therapist for 20 years, and for the last 6 of those years she cared for patients at Essentia Health in Duluth before returning to continue her education to become a physician assistant. “I really like the mission of the organization, and being part of a patient care team working together to treat the whole patient,” she explains. “I knew that I wanted to return to Essentia Health again once I finished my training.”
Anderson earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She’s certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
“As a physician assistant, I am able to help manage and direct a patient’s care, as well as provide education and support,” says Anderson. “I chose the family practice setting because it allows me to have a continued impact on a patient’s well-being over the course of their lifetime. It’s very rewarding.” To schedule an appointment with Anderson, call (715) 817-7100. To see her full profile, visit EssentiaHealth.org and click on “Find a Doctor or Provider.”
