Physician Assistant Kailey Potratz has joined the Cardiology Department at the Essentia Health Heart and Vascular Center in Fargo, North Dakota. Potratz will specialize in cardiac electrophysiology, the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.
Potratz spent five years working in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab in Fargo prior to her physician assistant training. “My years in the catheterization lab provided me with exceptional experience for this position and had a strong impact on my decision to choose cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology as my specialty,” she explains. “I find this area of medicine to be very intriguing and rewarding.”
Potratz earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
“As a provider, I treat each of my patients as if they were a family member of mine,” says Potratz. “My promise is that I will provide the best care possible to all of my patients.”
