Essentia Health Welcomes Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Poppe

Stephanie Poppe, Orthopedic Surgery

Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Poppe has joined the Orthopedic Surgery Department at the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota.

Poppe has almost 15 years of nursing experience, and has spent many of those years working in the operating room. “I’ve always been very interested in the musculoskeletal system,” she explains. “Helping patients who struggle with pain and helping them achieve good outcomes that allow them to return to the activities they love brings me great joy.”

Poppe earned a master’s degree in nursing from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. She’s certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. “I view health as a triad of body, mind and spirit. If one of these aspects is out of alignment, then a person can struggle to have optimal health,” says Poppe.  “If I can help a patient by encouraging, educating and supporting their needs, then I feel as though I have done my job.”
