Essentia Health-Wahpeton Offers New Service to Better Care for Patients

Essentia Health-Wahpeton has added chiropractic care to their services and is pleased to welcome Andrew Zetocha, DC, to the clinic.

“I was drawn to this opportunity by Essentia Health’s core values and the patient-centered approach to care that is emphasized here,” says Dr. Zetocha. “I look forward to working at the Wahpeton Clinic and building relationships with people from this community.”

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional with specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine.

Seeing a chiropractor can help restore motion, ease pain, reduce muscle tightness and heal tissue. Common reasons to see a chiropractor include headaches, lower back pain or sciatica, neck pain or shoulder pain.

Dr. Zetocha earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

“My initial focus as a chiropractor was sports-based injuries, and from that experience I’ve realized that most musculoskeletal complaints can be treated as such,” explains Dr. Zetocha. “Whether we are fixing a fence in our back yard or catching fly balls, most injuries have similar progressions, so I try to provide exercises and therapies that will quickly and effectively get patients back to doing what they love.”

“We continue to expand our care team to ensure patients receive access to services aimed to meet all of their health needs,” says Julie Rosenberg, Wahpeton clinic administrator. “We are proud to be able to offer chiropractic care in Wahpeton to ensure that our patients can receive the care they need close to home,”
