Essentia Health-St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes now stations ambulance and emergency crew in Lake Park

Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes is excited to work with the Lake Park Rescue Squad and help people in the community with an ambulance and EMS crew station.

The new station is right along Highway 10 and can now reach those suffering a medical emergency in the area even quicker.

“In those critical medical situations, seconds count,” says Essentia Health-St. Mary’s EMS Senior Manager Sean Lathrop. “This new station will let us deliver even better care to the people in Lake Park and the surrounding area.”

The new station opened in early Feb. and will be staffed with an EMT and paramedic every day from 10 a.m. until midnight.

“This outreach can literally save lives,” says Lathrop. “It’s just one more way the team at Essentia Health is working to make a healthy difference in people’s lives.”
