Essentia Health-Park Rapids Clinic hosts Lunch-n-Learn for seniors

Getting the necessary nutrients from foods or supplements is incredibly important to the health and well-being of every person and our community. As our bodies age, we have different dietary needs and that’s why the team at Essentia Health-Park Rapids Clinic is hosting the lunch-n-learn, “Healthy Eating and Supplements for Seniors”.

Registered Dietitian Danielle Tretbar will explain what foods will have the biggest, positive impact on your life and what foods you may want to reduce in your meals. Join us on Thursday, April 26, at noon to learn more about your nutritional needs. The event will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 803 West First Street in Park Rapids.

“People are always talking about the importance of being active, but too many forget the incredible importance of eating healthy,” says Danielle Tretbar. “That’s why I want to start a conversation about why we need to give our bodies the proper fuel to live long, healthy lives.”

A free lunch will be provided. If you’re interested, please RSVP by calling 218-844-0719 or email
