Essentia Health highlighting surgical tool with live demonstrations
Essentia Health is making it easier than ever for patients in need of a hip or knee replacement to understand and undergo these surgeries.
On Wednesday, March 2, our MAKO robot will be on display at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) as part of a joint-replacement seminar. The public is invited to come learn about orthopedic surgical options and get an up-close look at the MAKO, a robotic arm that helps surgeons provide the safest, most accurate and least invasive hip and knee replacements available.
The robot combines digital planning, advanced computer technology and surgical techniques to produce successful patient outcomes, including reduced recovery time.
Live demonstrations will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Horizon Room on the harbor side of the DECC, located at 350 Harbor Dr.
