Essentia Health Advocates for Tobacco Regulation in Moorhead

The Moorhead City Council voted 7-1 in  favor to adopt an ordinance which complies with the legal age of purchase from 18 to 21, and bans all flavored products from licensed stores. "This is a win for our community in protecting our youth from preventable diseases, illness and death" says West Community Health Manager Karen Pifher.

Essentia provided letters of support and contacted City Council directly to advocate in favor of this policy change.
