Improving Mental Well-Being of Students in Graceville

Ada Community Celebrates National Bike to School Day

95 elementary age students gathered at Faith United Church in Ada on May 5th to take part in National Bike to School Day. Students participated in helmet fitting, bike maintenance and safety skills sessions followed by enjoying healthy snacks donated by Essentia Health-Ada!

Supporting Food Insecurity Efforts in Koochiching County

Crow Wing Energized Reaches Food Access Milestone

In partnership with Second Harvest North Central Food Bank and Central Lakes College in Brainerd, Crow Wing Energized has hosted 20 pop up produce events in Brainerd Lakes since August 2019. April 28th marked 321,000 pounds of food distributed impacting over 4,500 families in the Brainerd Lakes community!

Kudos to our Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) colleagues who organized an Earth Day neighborhood clean-up around the 6th Avenue Building in Duluth on April 22nd. We are grateful for their time and effort in helping keep our community and campus clean!
